About

About LT Cloud Lab

A static website and cloud deployment built for CSCE 412 (Cloud Computing) at Texas A&M University, Fall 2026.

Who

Daniel (Leyuan) Tang is a Texas A&M student working in natural language processing and AI research, with a focus on large language models.

Why

Project 5 asks for a secure, publicly reachable website whose deployment and verification are assisted by a custom multi-agent AI system, not just clicked together by hand.

How

Files live in a private Amazon S3 bucket. CloudFront serves them over HTTPS with a certificate from AWS Certificate Manager, and Route 53 routes the custom domain.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a server running this site?

No. Every page is a static file. There is no backend; CloudFront delivers the files directly from S3.

Can someone read the S3 bucket directly?

No. Block Public Access is enabled and the bucket policy only allows the CloudFront distribution (via Origin Access Control) to read objects. Direct requests return 403 Access Denied.

What happens if I visit with http://?

CloudFront redirects the request to https:// automatically.

What do the AI agents do?

They turn the project requirements into tasks, run approved deployment tools, review the security configuration, and run verification checks, with a human approving any consequential change.
